We have worked out a model plan on vetting to assist the quality operators.
We place our representative, who are experienced Master Mariner with oil tanker experience, onboard vessel prior the vetting inspections to prepare vessel & ship staff as per the Latest SIRE VIQ and oil major requirements. A pre-vetting inspection is carried out and report of observations is raised along with the suggestion of closeout, presented to the Owners/Managers for their perusal. A risk assessment module prepared in-house is used for this pre-vetting assessment of the vessel and we recommend the Owners/Managers to go ahead with the vetting inspection only after the vessel has fared well in our pre-vetting assessment.
The new requirements of SIRE 2.0 has resulted in an increased workload on office staff during the pre-inspection process. Our experienced team can assist in the submission of the Pre-inspection questionnaire, certificate details and the ship’s photographs. We can also assist in the preparation of the close out comments after completion of an inspection.
